The project began with the acquisition of an original Yamaha XJR1300 RP02. As shown in the photos below, the bike’s initial state was old and unassuming, reflecting its dated design and understated charm.
I should mention that my predecessor unfortunately had neither the time nor the necessary understanding to maintain such a motorcycle and let it deteriorate. However, since the frame and engine were in such robust condition, I decided to acquire it for a small amount of money.

This original purchase served as the perfect starting point, offering a solid foundation and classic lines that inspired the extensive modifications to come.
The bike’s authentic character and robust performance were ideal for the transformation journey.
